We are building a community of compassionate physicians! Ask Me Your MD, Inc. (AMYM) is the first of its kind telepractice, aimed to improve patient satisfaction and quality measures by educating and advocating on behalf of patients. Our physicians are guided by a passion for educating, advocating and empowering patients with the knowledge to live a healthy life. Our vision is to be a global leader in improving health literacy and health outcomes with direct, on-demand access to providers. We envision our objective data will show critical improvements in quality measures which are associated with positive health outcomes.
We are 100% a telepractice innovating both the practice of medicine and the use of telemedicine in hospital settings. We are the only inpatient on-demand physician service improving patient satisfaction and quality measures.
We are pioneering two new specialities in medicine that focus on patient education and care transition, inpatient and outpatient.
We strive to go the extra mile for patients, using our position as doctors to help patients get the care they deserve!
We empower patients with the knowledge they need to live their healthiest lives. We help them navigate through the healthcare system.
We do not complete any patient paperwork. We focus on educating the patient. We do write medical notes for billed encounters.
We do not prescribe medications for patients. Our responsibilities include educating, reconciling, and providing guidance on the recommended medications.
We do not make any orders for patients. Our role is to advise patients on the appropriate orders for their specific medical conditions or concerns.
A new specialty of AMYM is Primary Educational Providers (PEPs or Prieds). These are doctors whose sole focus is to educate the patient in regards to: conditions, medications, results, questions and navigation in healthcare.
Ask Me Your MD, Inc.'s PEPs are the foundation of the on-demand outpatient chat and video encounters. They are passionate about helping patients understand and bridge knowledge gaps in efforts to improve satisfaction and health outcomes.
PEPs help to lighten the burden on PCPs or other physicians that do not have time to educate or explain things to patients & their families. PEPs are patient and take the time needed to help patients understand.
Many doctors have resigned due to burnout or feeling overwhelmed. Ask Me Your MD, Inc. is redefining what it means to be a physician. We aim to decrease burnout by refocusing on the most important part of our practice of medicine, educating patients.
